DANNY BURNS Danny Burns is a 26 year old performing songwriter from the Northwest of Ireland And has been on the road as a full-time musician/performing songwriter since the age of 17. His touring history has covered such places as New York, Nashville, New Orleans,Memphis, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Miami, DC, Maryland, Derry, Belfast, Dublin, Copenhagen and throughout the Northwest of Ireland and Scandanavia, Spain, Portugal, Germany and the UK Coming from a working musician's family, this seemed to be the normal thing to do after finishing school! Danny's music has many different styles and influences, but he refers to it as "just roots music" and early in his career, was hailed by Home & Away NYC as "The next generation of balladeers. One to watch!", during his time in residency at one of NYC's finest live music venues "Rocky Sullivans." Shortly after he has featured in a documentary about Irish living-legend singer/songwriter Shane McGowan and "The Fairytale of New York" which was aired on Irish national television.
