After passing out all Aubree could remember felt like a dream to her. It was a dream, maybe, how Charlie picked her up and laid her down on the couch, a towel pressed to her wrists, trying to stop the bleeding, desperate to stop it. Aubree couldn't remember cutting so deep, it wasn't supposed to still bleed, but it did and Charlie took care of. As overextended he looked in the end there is a chance he saved her life. And when he finished that, when he however he managed it stopped the bleeding he sat down with Aubree, he put her head in his lap and held her, stroked her hair from time to time, whispering soft words she didn't understand or just didn't remember. He didn't leave, he wasn't grossed out enough by her appearance. He stayed with Aubree until she woke again. When Aubree finally did wake up her gaze met his giant green eyes. She held his concerned look for a while trying to understand what had happened to her. She slowly moved her head off of his lap and sat up not daring to look down at her wrists. "Do you want to talk about it?" Charlie asked without any persistence in his tone. "It was just a one-time thing Charlie" Aubree said quickly. She couldn't dare tell him she'd done it once before; he'd assume she was addicted to it. She wasn't though, cutting wasn't even her problem.
