For me this was NOT temporary.. it faded after a few weeks, but was definitely still visible. I honestly dont know how long this lasts, it may depend on which COLOR YOU USE AND YOUR HAIR COLOR. Some say it lasts 6 months.. and some only a few weeks, I have known one girl who did it and it lasted a year. Regardless I would def. recommend trying this on just one strand of hair first to see how you like it :) IT CAN LAST UP TO A YEAR. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND REMEMBER YOU CAN ALWAYS GET YOUR ENDS TRIMMED IF YOU DONT LIKE THE COLOR! I just made this tutorial for fun, I am not some proffessional OK?
